Less Hype, More Truth

A lot of therapy websites end up sounding the same: caring words, broad promises, and a feeling of “maybe this fits, maybe it doesn’t”. My website is different: less hype, more truth. I want you (and referring professionals) to be able to decide with confidence.

Why there are no testimonials

You won’t find client testimonials here. In psychotherapy, requesting endorsements can create subtle pressure, blur boundaries, and risk exploiting the power imbalance in the relationship. My professional ethics require me to avoid that.

Protected Health Information (PHI)

Professionals are right to worry about PHI. Protected Health Information is not used as website content. I do not publish client quotes, identifiable stories, or personal details.

How the site copy was created

I use an AI note tool (Mentalyc) to take structured case notes. Those notes are not “my impressions,” but an AI’s observations of my work. I de-identified a week of notes to prevent exposure of PHI.

Then, for each page where it is labeled as observational (for example: my style working with neurodivergent adults or what I offer for clients with complex trauma), I asked ChatGPT to derive draft copy from those de-identified notes. I review and edit everything for presentation and potential PHI before it becomes public-facing. I made no changes to the content. This approach helps the website reflect recurring patterns in real clinical work rather than aspirational marketing claims — while still protecting client privacy.
