Neurodivergent Adults — My Style

Therapy that respects your wiring — and treats burnout as real.

Looking for something different? If your main question is “what will we actually work toward?”, see Neurodivergent Adults — What I Offer.

Neurodivergent adults often arrive exhausted from years of adapting: masking, over-functioning, and trying to look “fine” while their internal systems are running hot. My style here is validating without being soft. If you’ve been told you’re lazy, broken, or “too much,” we replace that story with something truer: you have a nervous system with real constraints — and real strengths.

Five key traits of my style here

  • A “reduce friction” stance: we focus on what supports your nervous system and capacity.
  • Direct, collaborative communication — no hidden rules.
  • We take masking and over-functioning seriously and work toward sustainable alternatives.
  • Shame-reduction and coherence: your experience should make sense, not feel defective.
  • Trauma-informed pacing when neurodivergence and trauma overlap.
