Referrals (for Professionals)

I welcome referrals for adults in Oregon seeking steady, practical psychotherapy via telehealth. My work is a good fit for clients who are capable on the outside but struggling internally with anxiety, burnout, shame, rumination, trauma patterns, or relationship strain—and who want change that translates into daily life.

Common Referral Reasons

  • Anxiety, chronic stress, and burnout (including work-related)
  • Depression, grief, and emotional exhaustion
  • Rumination, obsessive loops, self-criticism, perfectionism
  • Trauma histories and ongoing trauma responses (hypervigilance, shutdown, emotional flooding)
  • Relationship conflict, boundaries, role strain, and life transitions
  • Neurodivergent overwhelm, masking, and burnout
  • LGBTQIA+ identity stressors, resilience, and chosen-family dynamics

Clinical approach

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches. My style is collaborative and direct, with warmth and clarity. With client consent, I’m open to coordinated carewith prescribers, primary care, and other treating professionals.

Logistics

  • Format: Telehealth only (secure, HIPAA-compliant video), adults anywhere in Oregon
  • Scheduling: I typically respond within 1–2 business days
  • Insurance / payment: I accept private pay and am in-network with the plans listed on my Services & Payments page (and I can provide superbills when relevant)

How to refer

The simplest referral is to have the client contact me directly to request a consultation: technicalcounseling@gmail.com  |  971-777-2748

If you’d like to coordinate care, please ensure the client provides written consent for release ofinformation. If your referral contains confidential information, please contact me to obtain my fax number.

Not a fit / higher level of care

If a client needs a higher level of care (imminent risk, inability to maintain safety, or acuity requiring intensive services), I will recommend appropriate crisis or specialty resources.
